Mona Benyamin is an audio-visual artist, filmmaker, and cellist. Her works explore the absurdity of life under occupation, delving into themes of repetition, trauma, and temporal awareness. Her video works are known for appropriating formats from mass and popular media, often manipulating their devices and structures to challenge the rigid boundaries between truth and fiction. She lives and works between Haifa and the Hudson Valley, New York.
